■How do I check if my device is carrier-locked?

To use a eSIM, your device must be SIM-unlocked (carrier-unlocked) or SIM-free. 

Please follow the instructions below to confirm that your device is SIM unlocked.


If your device is carrier-locked, you may use online unlocking procedures from carrier's website.


For iOS:


1.  Open "Settings"

2.  Select "General" 

3.  Select "About" 

4.  "Carrier Lock" : if you see " SIM locked ", please get in touch with your to unlock your device.
 


For Android (ex. Pixel):

**Settings may be different on different model/device.


1. Open "Settings" app 

2. Select "Device Information" 

3. Select "SIM card status" 

4. If "SIM lock status" is "Allowed", the SIM lock has been removed.
